Habitat: woodland stream and seepage

Body length: 45-49 mm

Distribution in Hong Kong: Mainly in Lantau Island and central New Territories, e.g. Sunset Peak, Ng Tung Chai, Yuen Tun Ha

Flight period in Hong Kong: April to June

Identification features: 

1. Synthroax black, with a yellow antehumeral stripe and yellow spot at two sides respectively

2. Abdomen end blue
