Habitat: slow-flowing stream

Body length: 68-74 mm

Distribution in Hong Kong: Mainly in New Territories, e.g. Sha Lo Tung, Hok Tau

Flight period in Hong Kong: April to August

Identification features:

1. Large yellow spot on the 7th abdominal segment

2. A pair of yellow spot on the dorsum of the 8th abdominal segment 

3. The 9th abdominal segment all black

4. Superior anal appendage pin-like, inferior appendage very short in male
