Distribution in Hong Kong: Scattered over the New Territories and Lantau Island, e.g. Luk Keng, Fung Yuen, Tung Chung
Flight period in Hong Kong: all year round
Similar species: Blue-spotted Dusk-hawker, Ryukyu Dusk-hawker (Comparison)
Identification features:
1. Mesepisternum without apparent stripes
2. Dorsum of synthorax near the base of forewings with a rhombus-shaped spot
3. Abdomen slender
