Habitat: slow-flowing hill stream and pond

Body length: 78-84mm

Distribution in Hong Kong: mainly in highland such as Pat Sin Leng, Ma On Shan, and Siu Ma Shan

Flight period in Hong Kong: February to October

Identification features:

1. Synthorax yellowish green, and two sides with alternating black and yellowish green stripes

2. Inner edge of hindwing of both sexes smooth

3. Abdomen reddish brown with black transverse stripes; the stripes thicker in female
