Body length: 33-45 mm

Distribution in Hong Kong: Mainly in Lantau Island and central New Territories, e.g. Yun Tun Ha, Sunset Peak, Tai Po Kau

Flight period in Hong Kong: May to July

Identification features: 

1. Synthorax black, without stripes

2. Abdomen end blue
