Body length: 50-53 mm

Distribution in Hong Kong: Scattered over Hong Kong, e.g. Wu Kau Tang, Sha Lo Tung, Tai Po Kau, Tai Tam

Flight period in Hong Kong: May to September

Similar species: Spangled Shadow-emerald (Comparison)

Identification features: ：

1. Two yellow stripes at two sides of synthorax respectively

2. Dark brown stripes at wing base in female

3. Apparent vertical yellow stripe on dorsum of abdomen
