Habitat:  woodland stream and seepage

Body length: 49-58 mm

Distribution in Hong Kong: Scatteredly distributed over Hong Kong, e.g. Yuen Tun Ha, Wu Kau Tang, Ng Tung Chai, Mau Ping, Tai Po Kau

Flight period in Hong Kong: April to August

Identification features: 

1. Synthrax black, with a white stripe at two sides respectively
