Flight period in Hong Kong: April to December

Identification features (male): 

1. Synthorax brown

2. Large area of red spot at wingbase of hindwings

3. Abdomen red

4. Large area of black from the 8th to 10th abdominal segment

1. Synthorax and abdomen yellowish brown

2. Large area of brown spot at wingbase of hindwings
