Body length: 80-86 mm

Distribution in Hong Kong: Scattered over Hong Kong, e.g. Wu Kau Tang, Hok Tau, Ma Tong Au, Mui Tsz Lam, Tsiu Hang, Pak Kung Au

Flight period in Hong Kong: February to September

Similar species: Beak-tailed Hawker

Identification features: 

1. Frons yellowish green

2. Compound eyes green

3. Mesepisternum with “丄丄”-shaped green stripes

4. Abdomen black in male with green stripes, and reddish brown in female, which turns into dark brown in aged individuals
